I am breaking in a new Copic Multiliner brush pen, so I went with trusty old Joe.

I got some feed back from co-workers and tweeked this Vampire image. I redrew the stake in the chest, added some blood and fangs.

Here is the finished Woodcut version of the Vampyre with a stake image. I am not quite as happy with the face, the wood cuts are too small, but its 1:00 and I have to be up at 6 so this is as good as it gets.

Here's another Vampire Illustration. It takes about 3 hours to get to this point. I have admired Tim Bradstreets work for a while now, its fun to try out his style.

No post today. I am working on a Vampire illustration after hours. I've already got a couple of hours in it, and it will need a few more to finish.

Call me a liar but here is a Work in Progress. I tried working on Vellum for the first time, it worked great for light boxing, but the heavy inks soaked through. Still I might try Vellum again.

So I tried my hand at beloved children's characters and I ended up making Sully look mean, and Mike look stoned. I even re-worked Mike Wazoski's eye in photoshop and he still looks creepy.

DD014 the Crypt Keeper

i was out late yesterday so I didn't get a chance to post the Cryptkeeper. Its been a while since I inked with a brush so I found that I had a heavy hand again, but all in all I can live with how this doodle turned out.

So yesterday I didn't get my doodle drawn up, shame on me. Today I drew a Batman only to realize it was friday the 13th. I messed around with drawing up a Crypt keeper sketch but it didn't turn out. So maybe tomorrow I will draw something a little more spooky.

I was lucky enough to do some Storyboards for the Robert Cuffley film Ferocious. I had a couple of friends Set dressing for the film and we got my Zap Girl poster on set. Its a nice touch that my image showed up on the set that I storyboarded.
